What you're signing up for

Purchases will always be voluntary and go toward hosting and development — a rank will never give anyone moderation power. Full purchase terms go live the day the store does.

Rules

Fourteen rules, no fine print. Staff apply judgment where these don't cover something — that's what they're here for.

Respect everyone

Treat all players and staff with respect.

No begging

Don't beg for OP, staff, ranks, money, items, or resources.

Spawn rules

No ugly dirt huts or low-effort builds around spawn. Keep it clean, and don't destroy or ruin community builds located there.

New players

Don't repeatedly kill or target players who just joined the server.

Earn your progress

No begging for free resources. Gather and earn your own items.

Chat rules

Keep chat PG-13. Hate speech, racism, harassment, NSFW content, excessive swearing, and spam are all prohibited.

Bugs & exploits

Found a duplication glitch, economy exploit, or plugin bug? Report it immediately. Using exploits for personal gain can mean severe punishment.

Staff decisions

Staff decisions are final. Arguing excessively with staff may lead to punishment.

No cheating

X-ray, fly hacks, killaura, reach hacks, speed hacks, ESP, auto clickers where not permitted, and any unfair client or modification are strictly prohibited.

Raiding, griefing & stealing

Allowed, unless a specific event or protected area says otherwise. Protecting your own base and valuables is on you.

Advertising

Don't advertise other Minecraft servers, Discord servers, websites, or businesses without staff permission.

Usernames & skins

Usernames and skins must stay appropriate and must not impersonate staff or other players.

Alternate accounts

One alt account per player. Using extra alts, or using an alt to evade punishment, is strictly prohibited.

Punishments

Depending on severity or repetition: warning, mute, temporary ban, permanent ban, or rank removal.

1. General

Shalom SMP is an independent Minecraft server. All purchases, when the store is live, are voluntary and help support development, hosting, and future updates. Purchasing a rank or item never grants staff permissions or authority over other players. Staff decisions are final in all matters relating to moderation, gameplay, and purchases.

2. Payments

UPI is the preferred and default payment method for anything sold in the store. All successful payments are considered final once confirmed.

3. Parent or guardian permission

If you're using a parent's or guardian's money, get their full permission before making any purchase.

4. Refund policy

All purchases are non-refundable. This includes bans or punishments, rank removal due to rule violations, account loss, change of mind, and server resets or gameplay changes.

5. Rank & item delivery

Purchased items are usually delivered shortly after payment is verified. Delays can happen due to staff availability or technical issues.

6. Server changes

Shalom SMP reserves the right to change rank perks, modify gameplay, reset worlds, add or remove features, and balance the economy. None of these qualify for a refund.

7. Account responsibility

Players are responsible for keeping their own Minecraft account secure.

8. Independence

Shalom SMP is an independent Minecraft server with no official or unofficial affiliation, endorsement, sponsorship, or partnership with Shalom Presidency School, Shalom Hills International School, or any other school or educational institution. Any similarity in name is coincidental and implies no relationship or approval.

Information we collect

  • Minecraft username and UUID
  • Purchase history
  • Discord username, if linked
  • Payment confirmations
  • Basic server activity logs

We do not collect passwords or banking credentials.

How we use it

To deliver purchased items, verify payments, prevent fraud, moderate the server, and improve gameplay and server security.

Data sharing

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties unless required by law.

Payment privacy

For UPI payments, only the transaction details needed to verify a purchase are used. We never request or store confidential banking credentials.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no online service can guarantee complete security.

Policy updates

These terms, rules, and this privacy policy may be updated at any time. Continued use of Shalom SMP after a change means you accept the update.

Who's who, by role — not a name list, just what each position actually does.

Owner

Complete authority over the server and final say on every major decision.

Co-Owner

Assists the owner with server management and oversees major decisions when needed.

Administrator

Manages staff, handles serious player reports, and oversees moderation.

Developer

Maintains plugins, server performance, the website, and other technical systems.

Moderator

Enforces the rules and handles reports — warnings, mutes, and bans.

Helper

Assists new players, answers questions, and reports problems up the chain.

Builder

Designs and maintains spawn, warps, and event areas.

Event Manager

Organizes events, tournaments, and giveaways.

How it works

  1. Fill out the form. Minecraft username, Discord tag, and a couple of questions about how you play.
  2. Sit tight. Staff read every application — no bots, no auto-accept.
  3. Get whitelisted. You'll be added to the server and invited to the Discord.
  4. Join at play.shalomsmp.in, read the rules once more, and find out what "chaos" actually means here.
